Our Total Beginner Mandarin classes are designed for students with little to no background in Mandarin Chinese, and our engaging, professional teachers will guide you every step of the way.
Over the course of 8 weeks, you can expect to learn basic Mandarin conversation skills, pinyin, grammar, and vocabulary, as well as get an introduction to the writing system. Using a textbook oriented toward the spoken language, students learn to speak Mandarin while engaging in lively conversations and role play.
A PDF copy of the textbook, Chit-Chat Chinese, is included in the cost of the class and will be emailed to you the day before the start date. A physical copy of the textbook may be purchased from Senseio Bookstore.
Total Beginner Online Classes - 8 Weeks: $350!
Online Total Beginner Mandarin Classes meet once a week in small classes, with a minimum of 3 students and a maximum of 6.
Classes meet in Pacific Time and are held on Zoom.
Total Beginner In-Person Classes - 8 Weeks: $435!
In-Person Total Beginner Mandarin Classes meet once a week in small classes, with a minimum of 3 students and a maximum of 9.
Classes will meet at One Embarcadero Center, Lobby 1 in San Francisco.
