I have never studied French before or would like to start again from the beginning.I am familiar with être, avoir and the present tense of regular verbs, but I can't really speak.I can engage in a short conversation about predictable situations using regular and irregular verbs in the present tense.I can speak with relative confidence about day-to-day topics in the present tense and simple past.I am familiar with the present, past and future tenses but I still make mistakes especially with the imperfect and passé compose.I am very comfortable using all of the indicative tenses. The subjunctive is still a mystery to me!I am able to use all indicative tenses in conversation and am familiar with the more complex tenses but need to brush up.I am comfortable speaking about most topics with fairly high accuracy but I need to build my vocabulary and fluency.I speak comfortably and rarely do not understand, yet people always know I am not a native speaker.
